Palestine - Set of Five “White” Checks of the Anglo-Palestine Company - 1920s - Complete Set from Various Branches A rare and complete set of five “white” design checks issued by the Anglo-Palestine Company during the 1920s. Each check originates from a different branch — Haifa, Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and others — representing the expansion of the bank’s branch network across the Land of Israel during the British Mandate period. All feature original handstamps, E.E.F. fiscal stamps, and period handwriting, with the elegant layout bearing the Star of David watermark and fully English text, symbolizing the early integration of Jewish national identity within a modern banking framework. A complete and highly desirable set, beautifully illustrating the emergence of the Hebrew financial system and the institutional legacy of the Anglo-Palestine Company.
