Palestine / Early Israel - Miniature Silver Pendant “Tomb of Rabbi Meir Ba’al HaNes” - Handcrafted by Moshe Morro (Bezalel), Signed M.M A miniature silver pendant, hand-crafted and signed “M.M” – the mark of Moshe Morro (Moreau), one of the leading Bezalel artists of the early 20th century. The obverse depicts the Tomb of Rabbi Meir Ba’al HaNes in Tiberias, delicately engraved with the Hebrew legend “Kever R. Meir Ba’al HaNes”. The dotted border framing the design is typical of Bezalel’s silversmithing style, combining Jewish heritage with artistic craftsmanship. This pendant belongs to a Bezalel souvenir series of holy-site amulets and medallions produced in the 1940s–1950s, primarily for pilgrims and visitors to the Holy Land.
