The collection is housed in a dedicated deluxe album inscribed: "BRITISH MANDATE COINS OF PALESTINE (1927-1946)." The collection includes coins from all seven denominations issued during the Mandate period: 1 Mil, 2 Mils, 5 Mils, 10 Mils, 20 Mils, 50 Mils and 100 Mils. A total of 52 coins are included, with only seven coins missing from the 59-coin collection by denomination and year. The 7 missing coins are: 20 Mils - 1933, 1934, 1940 and 1941. 100 Mils - 1927, 1931 and 1934. The coinage of Mandatory Palestine carried inscriptions in Hebrew, English and Arabic. The Hebrew country name included the abbreviation "(א"י)", standing for "ארץ ישראל" ("Eretz Israel" - Land of Israel). The mil was the subdivision of the Palestine pound, with one pound divided into 1,000 mils. The first coins of the series were issued in 1927, while the final British Mandate coinage bears the date 1946. The purpose-made album is designed for the British Mandate coin series, arranging the coins by denomination and year. Its cover features a three-language Palestine emblem together with the dates 1927-1946 and the inscription "BRITISH MANDATE COINS OF PALESTINE (1927-1946)." A matching outer slipcase is included, as shown.
