Judaica / Zionism - USA, Blessing Amulet Medal with Menorah and Star of David - 1940s-1950s A gilt metal amulet medal produced in the United States in the mid-20th century, worn as a charm for protection and good fortune. One side features a seven-branched Menorah flanked by olive branches, surrounded by the Hebrew inscription: "ברוך אתה בבואך • ברוך אתה בצאתך • מכבי" (Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out - Maccabi), with a small Star of David above the Menorah. The reverse shows a large Star of David containing the Hebrew letter “He”, representing the Divine Name, and below it the letters KAM EA BA. Around the edge appears the English inscription: "THE LORD SHALL GUARD YOU FROM ALL EVIL". This amulet combines mystical and Kabbalistic motifs with national Jewish symbols (the Menorah and the Star of David), reflecting the union of religious faith and modern Jewish identity in the Diaspora, particularly in the United States and the United Kingdom.
