Judaica / Zionism - Turkey, Token of the Jewish Community “K.K. Shirigim Yaa...”, Early 20th Century Rare thin tin token from a Jewish community in Turkey, bearing a Hebrew inscription: "K.K. Shirigim Yaa..." (likely short for Kehilat Kodesh Shirigim Yanina or a similar name), along with the denomination “5 Para” and the crescent and star, emblem of the Ottoman Empire. Struck on a thin tin planchet, the piece shows a mirror impression on the reverse, a result of single-sided manual striking. It was probably used within a synagogue, charity fund, or Jewish communal store as an internal trade or donation token. Obverse: Hebrew inscription “K.K. Shirigim Yaa...” with 5 Para and a crescent-and-star motif. Reverse: Mirror impression of the obverse, due to the thin metal striking. Metal: Tin Weight: 0.240 g Diameter: 20 mm
