Judaica / Zionism - Europe, Rare Jewish Token with Heraldic Motif, circa early 19th century A rare 19th century silver medal from the British-Israeli religious movement. Their movement believes that the inhabitants of Western and Northern Europe, and especially the British, are direct descendants of the lost ten tribes of Israel, and that the British royal family is a direct descendant of King David. The symbols of the symbol are attributed to various Israeli figures (David, Ephraim, Judah, Joseph). Obverse: A European-style heraldic shield supported by a lion and a unicorn, echoing traditional coats of arms. Hebrew letters appear within the shield, with a heraldic scroll beneath it. At the bottom is the Hebrew inscription “Kadosh Yisrael Malkenu” (“Holy One of Israel, our King”). Reverse: A large Star of David covering the entire field, with the Hebrew inscription “Atem Edai” (You are my witnesses). Likely used as a communal badge, ceremonial emblem, or identification token within a Jewish community or society. Weight: 10.192 g Diameter: 30 mm
