Israel - Pair of Kinetic Medals “A Star is Born” and “One Heart” - Silver 925, 37g (approx. 34.2g pure silver, 1.10 oz), 50 mm A unique pair of kinetic medals from the “Change and Motion” series, created and invented by Israeli kinetic artist Naim Basson. The medals were issued by the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation. These medals allow the holder to create changing forms by rotating the internal elements, combining movement, interaction, and artistic expression in a single medal. “A Star is Born” design: Two eight-pointed circular elements rotate against one another inside a wheel, forming changing star-like geometric patterns. “One Heart” design: Two heart-shaped elements rotate together within a wheel, creating a variety of changing and symmetrical forms. Artist Naim Basson previously designed other well-known medals for the governmental mint, including “The Dove, ” “Israel, ” and “The Dreidel.”
