A set dedicated to the five climate zones of the Earth, comprising five 2020 gold coins issued by the Republic of Chad and a miniature lucky-clover gold bar. The pieces are arranged in a purpose-made collector album containing German-language information about the characteristics of each climate zone. Obverse: Each of the five coins bears the coat of arms of Chad, the French inscription “RÉPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD, ” the year 2020 and the denomination “5000 FRANCS CFA.” Reverse: Each coin represents a different climate zone and is surrounded by a distinct colored ring: Tropical Zone: A tropical animal against vegetation, with the inscription “TROPISCHE ZONE” and a red ring. Subtropical Zone: A tree and animals in an open landscape, with the inscription “SUBTROPISCHE ZONE” and an orange ring. Temperate Zone: A hare in an agricultural landscape, with the inscription “GEMÄSSIGTE ZONE” and a green ring. Subpolar Zone: A polar bear against an icy landscape, with the inscription “SUBPOLARE ZONE” and a turquoise ring.
